Circuit-QED based time-averaged dispersive readout of a semiconductor charge qubit

Maturing hybrid circuit quantum electrodynamics architectures composed of semiconductor dots and on-chip microwave resonators promise an effective approach for nondemolition readouts in systems. Here, we study coherence a charge qubit coupled with high-impedance resonator. The is controlled by periodic pulse sequence, dispersive measurement performed measuring the time-averaged resonator response. From Rabi oscillation Ramsey fringe measurements, time determined as [Formula: see text] text]. Compared time-resolved (pulsed) measurement, this process eliminates limitation caused response time, enabling high repetition rate sequence experiments.
